Near Haight & Ashbury, San Francisco

Funny thing I overheard...

Walking near Haight & Ashbury in San Francisco (the epicenter of all things hippy in the 60s)... There was a (seemingly able-bodied) young couple camped out on the sidewalk with a cardboard sign asking for money. They had lots of dyed hair, piercings & tattoos, plus 2 dogs & a cat on leashes. As we walked by, the lady was eating something which the cat was very interested in.  I overheard her say to the cat: "no begging, Castro, no begging."

The science museum ate my son!

Bases loaded & a crescent moon

Fans at the Giants game

At the Giants game at AT&T Park

If you look closely, you can see the left-fielder catching the ball. This was the 2nd out in the top of the 8th. The Giants are winning 1-0.

The boat ride to Angel Island

The left support disappears into the clouds!

This boat has wind turbines and solar panels for alternate fuel, plus an exercise, which actually generates power for the boat!

Marvelous views of San Francisco Bay. A gorgeous, sunny day.
